His Story is designed to equip men engage in the process of bringing men to Christ. The culture of our day is increasingly Biblical illiterate and subtlety postmodern. We can no longer make the same assumptions we did even a few years ago. People today often do not understand or believe in a Biblical worldview. The strategy of just sharing the "gospel" with people becomes unintelligible to an audience that does not understand God's story revealed in Scripture.
His Story teaches a process for dialoguing the Gospel. Each step in the process is like establishing a base camp for a climb to the top of a high mountain. Multiple base camps are necessary for climbers to acclimate on their way to the top. Coming to a faith based relationship with Christ is like reaching the summit. Along the way, climbers need help from guides (sherpas) who can help carry the load, show the way and set up base camps.
